Find a Group

There are dozens of groups at ECC. We try to keep the groups small (hence the name “small groups”), so some groups are full. Here is a list of groups currently open to adding new members. Check back often, as new groups are forming all the time and spots opening up in existing groups!

Men’s Groups

There are lots of very small men’s groups that meet throughout the week, sometimes just two or three guys meeting for prayer or accountability. If you’d like to talk about starting a group like this, contact Dan Waugh at dlwaugh@indiana.edu.

Men’s Tuesday Morning Group, meeting here at the church for prayer, study and accountability. Contact Rick Thatcher for more information at rjthatch[at]gmail.com.

Men’s Spiritual Formation Group, Wednesday nights. Contact Bob Whitaker for more information.

Men’s Bible Study, Saturday Morning, 7:30am. Meets at the church in Rm. 15 for study, prayer, fellowship. Contact Dan Groff at dgroff1454[at]bluemarble.net

Young Couples/Couples with Children Groups

Young Marrieds/Married with Young Kids Group.  Day and time for this group is still being worked out. Contact Ben Toll at btoll[at]indiana.edu

Young Marrieds. A group has formed and is still open to new members out on the west-side (Ellettsville area), meeting on Wednesdays at 7:30pm. Contact Jonathan Gregory to get connected at jjgregory[at]gmail.com.

Young Marrieds. This Monday night group has been meeting for a few months but still has room for a couple or two. Contact Kirk Harris for more information at kirkandrewharris[at]gmail.com.

Married with Older Kids. A brand new group is forming on the west-side for couples with older elementary thru high school age kids. Contact Kyle Strickler for more information at kylestrick[at]yahoo.com.

Graduate/Young Professional Group

Graduate/Young Professional Group on Monday nights, 8pm. This group is grad students from several different churches led by Matt Bazemore matthew.bazemore[at]gmail.com. Currently considering issues related to sanctification and spiritual formation.

Graduate/Young Professional Group on Thursday nights, 7:30pm. The group is a great mix of people from ECC and other local churches. Contact Kyungyoon (Yoon) Kang for more information at kkang[at]indiana.edu.

Other Groups

Inter-generational Group, Wednesday nights (7pm) at the church in Rm. 17. Married, single, young, old – all are welcome for prayer, study, and fellowship. Contact Don Voge at mlstar2001[at]yahoo.com.

Academic Group, Tuesday nights. A group of people who really like to think deeply about their faith and how it connects with their vocations, world, etc. Contact Tim O’Connor at toconnor[at]indiana.edu.
