“We don’t claim to have all the answers, but we refuse to ignore the difficult questions.”
That’s our motto here at Connexion, the college ministry of ECC. We strive to be a community that values faithful teaching and worship and genuine engagement with real-life questions.
We offer several avenues through which you will be able to grow in your faith in Christ and your relationships with others. First, our Connexion worship gatherings are on Sunday nights at 6 pm in the ECC Gathering Space. We always start off with a time of fellowship to catch up with friends and make new ones (snacks or a meal are always provided!) then we move into a time of worship with the Cx band, teaching with one of ECC’s pastors, and then Discussion/Q&A (you can even text in a question anonymously during the message to be addressed in front of the group during this time if you don’t feel comfortable raising your hand to ask it).
Second, C-groups: these are our small groups (10-15 people, usually) for university students. We offer these student-led coed groups for undergrad and grad students on several different nights of the week. C-groups meet weekly in the homes of ECC families for conversation, prayer, bible study, and discussion. Snacks or dessert are often involved. C-groups are a great way to grow in knowledge and faith and to develop friendships with others.
Finally, opportunities to get involved in Spring Break missions and volunteer in the Connexion ministry throughout the school year are available. Details will be announced at Cx services and online as the semester progresses.
