If it takes a village to raise a kid, what does it take to raise up mature followers of Jesus Christ? We believe it takes a church community. That is the focus of the adult ministries of ECC — providing the kinds of community where people can learn together, live life together, grow in Christ together, and be a Christian community together.
We provide lots of different types of community – mid-sized groups that meet on Sunday mornings (ACGs), small groups that meet in homes, men’s groups, women’s groups, and exercise groups. We also get together frequently for events that serves as ‘front porches’ to community. Events like the Women’s Dessert Socials, the Men’s Pig Roast, and the all church Chili Cook-off provide places where people can just enjoy one another and be welcomed into deeper community.
